NOVA ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal data is handled responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the NOVA application, website, and associated services (the Services).

2. SMS Messaging & Phone Number Use
As part of creating and maintaining an account with NOVA, you are required to provide a valid mobile phone number and consent to receive SMS messages from us.
- Purpose of SMS Messages: We use your phone number solely to send one-time passcodes (OTP) and account security alerts needed for login verification and protecting your account. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.
- Message Frequency: SMS messages are sent as needed to verify your identity during login attempts or account activity. Frequency will vary based on your use of the application.
- Opt-Out and Impact on Service: You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. If you opt out, we will stop sending SMS messages to your number. However, because SMS is required to access your account, opting out will suspend your ability to log in or use the application. You may opt back in by replying START or re-enabling SMS in your account settings.
- Help & Supported Keywords: For assistance, reply HELP to any SMS message or contact us at Loading contact information.... In addition to STOP and HELP, the following keywords are supported: STOPALL, END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, REVOKE (for opt-out), and START, UNSTOP, YES (to re-enable).
- Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
- No Third-Party Sharing: We will not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Recordkeeping: For compliance purposes, we may maintain records of your SMS consent, including the date, time, and method of consent, as well as a copy of the disclosure presented to you at signup.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver personalized experiences and emotional feedback

We do not sell your data. Any sharing is strictly for service functionality.

5. AI-Generated Content & User Liability
NOVA uses AI to simulate outcomes and emotional insights. These outputs are not deterministic or professional advice. NOVA is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for actions taken as a result of using our simulations, insights, or predictive models.
6. Sensitive Personal Data
We do not intentionally collect sensitive data like race, health, or political views unless explicitly authorized. If collected, its protected with enhanced safeguards.

8. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary. Deleted account data is removed from active systems within 30 days and backups within 90 days.

NOVA is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete such information promptly.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use signifies acceptance.
